2025 Yergensen Family Review

Most of our 2025 was connected to travelling for Kamri and Kennedi’s Youth Soccer.

But first we had some family photos taken up at Snow Canyon State Park.

January had us coaching 2 teams in Coyote Cup: We coached a combined 2011,2010 and 2009 team that had a mix of old and new players. This team took 2nd place.

We also coached a 2007 team with mostly players from our Rebel 07 Black team.  They went undefeated and won the tourney.

Next we were off to Florida for the ODP Interregional for Kamri. It was at Championsgate in Orlando.  It was rainy most days.  We even made it to Universal Studios and the kids had their butter beer at Harry Potter World.

While we were gone Kamri’s team won the Utah Presidents Cup for the 2nd Year in a row. This qualified them for the Regional in Boise in June.

McKade who was living with us decided to move to Arkansas and live with his grandparents. He works for Sam’s Club and lives with his Grandma Booby and Grandpa Sloane Porter.

February started with the 7Elite Invitational. Kennedi’s Rebel Elite 09 Black team won the U19 Championship over the Rebel Elite 06 team. Kamri played with Fire 06 and they didn’t do so hot. Holly and Andy enjoyed being parents and cheering them on.

Later in February both girls were in Las Vegas for more soccer as Kamri played Mayor’s Cup with Fire 06 and won the whole thing!

Kennedi’s team secured the Desert Conference Championship that same weekend.

March saw Kamri start her Junior softball season at Desert Hills and both girls played the Players Showcase in Las Vegas.

Many weekends we went and cheered Jemma and Perry on as they played Spring SUSA Kicks.

Kamri visited SUU and UNLV for soccer.

Spring SU-IRL soccer started and Kamri and Kennedi played in the same league but for different teams.

Also in April we had Seder, Brock and Kasey come visit and we took them to Big Shots.

And, then both girls played State Cup.  Kamri Played with Fire 06 and Kennedi’s Rebel Elite 09 Black team made it to the semifinals with Kennedi playing GK half a game and out in the field as a defensive mid.  She was 2nd on her team for goals scored and had some great saves in the goal.

April 11th Kennedi turned 16 and got her drivers license. She is a pretty good driver and loves to chauffeur everyone around.

On April 23rd we sent Kamri off to Spain to play with the 2007 National ODP team. She was gone for 14 days and got to meet new people, new teammates and coaches, and enjoy a different culture. Luckily Kamri had a good friend named Nolyn Cromie to travel with and the Cromie family took super good care of Kamdoodle.

Kamri and Kennedi went to Preference and both looked beautiful and had a great time with their dates.

Kamms softball was in full swing. They were able to get 2nd in State.

Kenn was working on her scoliosis physical therapy twice a week.

Jadyn had been trying on wedding dresses and found the right one. She said “Yes to the dress”. She had a big bridal shower in Midway too.

Kamri and family visited UNLV again and had some photo shoot and later she verbally committed to UNLV for soccer and got a full ride scholarship.

In June we went to Presidents Cup Regionals with the Rebel Elite 2007 Black team coached by Andy and Matt Hafen with Holly helping. We won Regionals and qualified for Florida in July.

4 days later, Jadyn and Brandon got married June 21, 2025 in Midway, Utah. It was a beautiful day with everyone celebrating them.

Kennedi tried out for a new Girls Academy soccer team in Vegas. (Las Vegas Sports Academy). She made the team and we now travel to Vegas about twice a week for practices. She is thriving with the new coaching staff and teammates. Traveling for practice is a little time consuming but definitely worth it.

We spent the 4th of July in St. George watching the fireworks at Utah Tech.

We traveled to Tampa, Florida for National Presidents Cup with the Rebel Elite 07 Black team. Where we won and became the National Champs! Both Kamri and Kennedi played on this team. We put Kennedi in the Goal for PK’s where she blocked 2 shots and scored the winning PK goal. NATIONAL CHAMPS!

4 days later we traveled to Oceanside to play in Surf’s Cup with Kennedi’s new LVSA team. She got a black eye going in for a header off a corner. She scored 2 awesome goals.  Kamri played for Fire FC 06 and also scored a couple goals.

The next weekend we had the Thacker Family Reunion at Deer Creek where we went boating and hung out on the beach. We got home Sunday and the girls had high school soccer tryouts.

Andrew flew out to California to his brother Chris’ house to hang with his brother BIlly and Chris. They went boating and had a great time. Sunday when he was to fly home he ended up in the ER with excruciating pain from Kidney Stones. We had to cancel his flight and rebook it for another day.

High School soccer was in full swing. Its always fun to watch Kamm and Kenn play together. Kennedi played defensive Mid all season and Kam played a little bit of wing, forward, center mid. Anywhere she was needed. Both girls had toe problems. Kenn had a toenail removed and Kamm had her big toenail drilled so the blood under the nail could release the pressure. This was the same toenail she had removed last year.

Kamri, Kennedi and Ella (Cousin) went to the Snow Canyon Homecoming dance together. Ella came down from Heber to go with them.

Kamm and Kenn got to play in the powder puff against each other. Seniors won. They both had fun.

Kamri had high school soccer senior night. It was bittersweet. The team ended up losing to Snow Canyon in PKs in the State semi finals.

Both girls went to Homecoming for Desert Hills.

BIG ANNOUNCEMENT Jadyn and Brandon are pregnant! Due May 3rd. We are excited for them.

Jemma (5) and Perry (3) played fall soccer. They were fun to watch. AJ coached both teams

For Halloween Jemma dressed up as Taylor Swift and Perry dressed up as Jack Skeloton.

We had a gender reveal party for Jadyn and Brandon. IT”S A GIRl!!

November we went to the Surf's Cup over Thanksgiving weekend in Oceanside. Kamri played for Fire FC and Kennedi played for LVSA.  We bandit ran the Oceanside turkey trot 5k in oceanside. It was a fun weekend.

Kamri had her signing day. We decorated her table and it was an exciting event.

Kennedi had another showcase tournament in California the first weekend in december so we went back to Cali. She played well, did team pictures, had a christmas white elephant gift exchange and had fun.

We got to watch and support Jemma in her dance recital. She is a good little dancer.

We had the Thacker family Christmas party up in Logan this year. We had lots of fun hanging out with the whole crew.

McKade flew in Christmas night and we got to hang with him for a few days. We love having him around. He flew back December 29th because he has to be an adult and get to work.

We didn’t do anything exciting for New Years. Just hung out and enjoyed the night.

That’s a wrap on 2025. We are excited for 2026.
